David R. Birdsell, B.S., D.C.

Dr. David Birdsell graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of education in 1972. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1975 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Birdsell has completed a 120-hour certification course of acupuncture study from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo. Cleveland Chiropractic College is a fully accredited college with approval by the Council on Chiropractic Education. Dr. Birdsell traveled to China in 1980 to study Tranditional Chinese Medicine. He continued his studies of acupuncture under Dr. Koji Uemura, a certified acupuncturist and native of Kyoto, Japan, from 1982 to 1985. Again in 1991, Dr. Birdsell traveled to China to further his studies in acupuncture. Dr. Birdsell is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Acupuncture Society of America and the Yennie Acupuncture Research Foundation. Dr. Birdsell is also a Chiropractic Industrial Consultant having completed a 120-hour certification course through Northwestern Chiropractic College. Dr. Birdsell originally opened his practice in Onalaska, Wisconsin in 1976. In 1977, he returned to Moline, Illinois and purchased the chiropractic practice of Dr. M.C. Anger. Dr. Birdsell has remained in Moline at his current location, 1201 5th Avenue, since that time.

Grady M. Birdsell, D.C., Diplomat of Acupuncture

Dr. Grady Birdsell graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1983. He attended classes with Dr. Richard Yennie from 1978 to 1981, and served a clinical acupuncture apprenticeship with Dr. Koji Uemura from 1983 to 1985, and with Dr. jin Zhou from 1993 to 1995. Dr. Birdsell became a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture in 1986. He traveled to China in 1988 as part of an exchange group in acupuncture. He received his Diplomat of Acupuncture from Shangai Research Institute, Shangai, China in 1989. In 1993, Dr. Birdsell became board eligible in Chiropractic Orthopedics. Dr. Birdsell is a member of the American Chiropractic Association.
